We get it – summer can be a tough time of year to throw an in-person competition, especially if you live somewhere where you could cook an egg on the pavement at high noon.
Throwing a competition is a great way to grow the engagement in your gym community and raise money at the same time, but you might not have the time, the right weather, or the square footage to hold a traditional competition. Or maybe you aren’t sure what other competing events might be on the calendar during a timespan that you’d like to throw a more traditional, in-person event. But that doesn’t mean you can’t throw one altogether. Host an online throwdown!
The average online competition makes 2-3 thousand dollars. If you threw an online competition, you could use the proceeds to buy a new rower, a few hundred pounds of bumper plates (without busted inner rings), a few dogsleds and still have enough leftover to throw an amazing end-of-online-comp cookout for your members.
We make it easy to setup your competition in about 4 minutes. So what are you waiting for?
We’ll be posting more about how easy it is to host an amazing online throwdown in the coming days. Stay tuned!
